Ten PM I must be dreaming
It is 10 PM and I am wide awake. Why? Because I slept all day long!
I’ve been awake for nearly 3 hours now. At first I muddled around a bit, straightening up my weekend mess - a soup bowl, and then, a can left in the sink because I was too lazysick to actually heat the soup up, so I just stood there and ate it, right out of the can, over the sink. Bachelorette me completely rawks.
I made two new necklaces. I attempted to do some work with resin but, I sneezed and got the mixture wrong and it didn’t set. Why I’m attempting jewelry is beyond me. I know I don’t feel well enough to actually complete a project, yet when I go back to bed my head races with ideas.
My friend David from Sydney sent me some cool new Muse tunes, so I’ve been listening to them, sort of quietly - if one can do Muse quietly - and just muddling about.
I did take the time to go over the comments people have left and I must say, I’m still surprised there are any
And very happy about it.
A common theme I’ve noticed though is that, I seem to be the only person that uses the little “next blog” feature in Word-press to find new blogs. How do you find your blogs? Your daily reads? Are they people you know already who happen to blog also? Or are they referrals from friends?
I used the “next blog” feature because other than my friend Cher, I really don’t know anyone who has a blog, except Danika and she’s weird anyway (love you Dani). Her blog is private all password protected and stuff. So far, I think I’ve probably read through about 100 blogs and probably skimmed a good 1000. I like blogs where the people are quirky and real and fun and outragious in an artsy sort of way. I am drawn to like minded folks and to bizaar folks and to “outer edge” peoples.
I do read a few standards like Dooce, and a few more magazinie (is that a word?) type blogs, like Real Simple, but mostly I just sort of meander about checking out what I can find.
Whew, I think writing has actually made me sleepy again. Back to bed with my SoundMachine and lavalamp!
